About River of Life
River of Life is a unique church in a unique portion of Boston. Jamaica Plain is an interesting and diverse community - so is our church. We really try to express our worship to God in authentic ways, using music, art, Scripture, prayer emphases in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
We want to equip people to exercise fresh faith in Christ every day. We have practical and relevant messages from the Bible, training in prayer and biblical understanding each week, and “Life Groups” throughout the week. The Life Groups usually meet in homes to develop supportive relationships and learn how to practically live out the messages of Scripture.
We love our area of the city and want to serve the community in whatever ways we can. We enjoy volunteering our help wherever possible. We also want to develop Life Groups throughout our area and hope to plant more churches in Southwest Boston. We invite you to be a part of the movement of God’s River through us, serving and strenghtening our community, and helping others find Life in Jesus Christ.
